Only my opinion is:
I believe in Ghost as I have wittiness explain events and saw ghost, haunting.

I believe in Magic as it's great to see a good Hat Trick or two in ones life time. The person performing the Magic act or to even be a Magician is an awesome technique, truly a gift in my eye's ;-)

i believe in everything because anything is possible and if enough people believe in 'anything' it will manifest somewhere somehow....also, there have always throughout history, in every part of the world, been the beliefs in ghosts/spirits, etc.....as well as magic has been a part of every culture...there are always a few very real magicians on the planet i believe, and in many ways we all use magic in various forms without thinking of them/life in those terms i think.
i believe the magicians are here to show us that there really are no limits except for the ones we impose upon ourselves

in my never to be humble opinion...

I live in a house with a ghost, he doesn't interfere with us so we leave him alone. Magic is not so magical when you understand how it works, and I don't mean the show type. Every one has a talent, some learn to use it, others let it die when an adult tells them it's not possible, or that they're weird because of it.

You asked two seperate questions. Most people believe in ghosts (sometimes spirits) because they have seen their deceased loved one (they saw a ghost) or know someone who has and they do not dismiss human experience.

It would depend on how you define magic. I don't consider myself to believe in magic but do believe in a wide variety of human abilities and experiences that science has no explanation of how might work.

I woke up terrified to death trembling with fear? what? then i felt their presence. i did NOT wish to look over but i did and three flying small demons were flying around my older brothers bed. one looked at me and i screamed but no sound came out of me I was so scared.then i looked down till the greenish light went away and I felt they had left.I was six years old at the time and will never forget those evil evil eyes of that demon. This was NOT a dream.it was totally real.and with faith all things or possible even magic.I have seen supernatural miracles.

People enjoy fantasizing they have magical powers... some people forget it's a game, and may go off the deep end...

people believe in ghosts and magic so they can have something that they can blame crazy things on, I think it takes the weight and burden of wondering and puzzling off of their spirits.
