They certainly do. In southern AZ everyone I know goes through their cars and trucks to remove weapons and ammo before crossing the border. The horror stories you hear about guys who 'forgot' their weapons when they drove into Mexico are blood curdling. Having said that, there is alot of smuggling going on, and the Mexican government, corrupt as it is, is trying to keep firearms out of the hands of its people.

Yes, its what some here see the usa in 20 years. Guns for the rich & famous only, all others need not apply.

Almost all countries have stricter gun control laws then the United States, in most like Japan and Canada it leads to a decrease in crime. Mexico has not done as good a job but it is better to have the laws on the books then to promote the wild west attitude that the US does

whatever they have, it isn't working. the criminals have all the newest latest weapons and are using them...i just saw a film on this and rooms of confiscated weapons..most of the police is corrupt and on the payroll of the criminals. their rejects are coming here and they are armed very well to..the new things is the terrorist are allying gangs to smuggle people, guns and drugs.

Laws on the books do not matter much if the law enforcement enforcing the rules is corrupt.

As do most Latin American countries,oddy enough they also almost all have murder rates that make ours look like a common cold in comparison.

The homicide rate in Mexico is double ours.

The homicide rate using guns is also higher.

Except for the drug dealer who are the police. And they shot any one trying to enter their country illegally.
