This morning i was running into another room and bam, i hit my hip on the side of the door opening VERY hard.It is on my waist directly on the side.It hurts ALOT only when i touch it. and there is now a roundish, purple, kind of swollen mark there. It is about as big as an adult size finger nail. Is it a bruise or did i pop a vein or what? and how do i make it better by monday?

It sounds like you may have chipped or bruised the hip bone ,When you hit the door the injury could have been hard enough to actually damage the bone without breaking it,So you have a tender bit on the bone.
The roundish, purple, swollen mark is probably a skin bruise which is caused by internal bleeding due to the crushed tissue
There is only one way to fix it and that is let it mend in its own time ,your could try ice packs ,then later heat packs
The bruising should go in 2 to 3 weeks the bone could be tender for a lot longer ,if the bruise is not going then see a doctor as you may have chipped the bone

I would go to the dr., because it sounds like you may have bruised your kidney.
