What tips to you have for auditioning for liesl ?

As she is 16 you want to dress the part. Do not dress too young or you will be viewed as one of the younger children and don't dress older then your age. She is a young girl who is curious about the world and of course Rolf. She is sweet but slightly defiant.

It is wise to not sing the songs from the show at an audition. A great one to sing for this role would be " I Enjoy Being A Girl" from Flower Drum Song.
