"We must secure the existence of our people and a future for white children"

Is it really hateful for white people to secure their existence and a future for their children?

I´m not concerned with WHO says this type of thing. That is irrelevant, as I´m sure neo-nazis say things like "Star Wars is a good film" too, it doesn´t make it hateful. What I want to know is whether it is hateful for white people to want to secure their existence.

Well as free speech is supposed to rule in this country, then I would think that securing the future for your own children should be allowed. However I would think that the PC brigade would prefer to have all a dirty brown/grey colour.

I think it's unfortunate in this day and age that anyone feels compelled to insert "white" or "black" or any other race in that sentence. Shouldn't we be securing the future for all children, regardless of race? We're all equal under the law and our children should all have the same opportunities.

I took a look at the link, and given the context and the speaker, I think it carries an added meaning that is deeply disturbing. It may not be hate speech in and of itself, but it's like the tip of the iceberg for an underlying attitude of racism. No race should "secure their existence" by harming or oppressing others. Let's face it, this man is in prison for what he did, not for what he said, and if that statement is intended to excuse what he did, that's reprehensible.

That is not so much hate speech at face value as it is evidence of severe mental illness.

No rational person would even suggest that the "white race" was in any danger of extinction or that "white children" wouldn't have a future.

Besides, the person who said that was a convicted terrorist, bank robber, kidnapper and murderer. Not exactly a wise choice for a role model.

Not really, they are just saying what white people are saying and every other race for that matter. Every body wants an existence and a future for their children who ever they are. And other people try to make out whatever is said is racist!

It is a double standard that needs to go away, but it probably won't.

Look at Barak Obama's church. They want to better the Black community and the Black America.

They have every right to do that and they might actually get things accomplished if they don't actually adopt seperationist policies, but it would be better if they didn't give seperationist statements when they are announcing thier creeds.

The other side of the standard is if a white church stated the same thing that would be deemed racist.

Also Hate speech is a pathetic attempt at a "thought police" ideal to begin with. Ignorance and hatred are not illegal. Commmiting a crime is and should be punished according to the crime. Not according to the motive.

Never heard the expression "hate speech" before, - I lead such a sheltered life - but my immediate reaction to this statement was "Why not ALL children?"

Why not say "We must secure the existence of our people and a future for their children." ?

... and who are "our people" anyway?

Surely we are all human beings and as such we are ALL "our people"!

Maybe the statement SHOULD have been; "We must secure a future for all."

This isn't hate speech, it's just someone looking out for their own people, and that's a good thing.
Hate speech in this case would be when you start talking about other races or making out that the whites were better somehow.

In inner London, someone needs to secure an educational future for the white kids, it's crazy now.

Not at all, Black people say stuff like that all the time. They are not saying they hate other races, just that they want white children to survive. You have to resist the political correct police ( no doubt some will respond to your question). That is no where near hate speech

God Bless the White People, for if they didn't exist, to whom would comic book inventors and publishers have sold them to?

We all knows that the white folk have disposable income and that equates to a new comic book for Billy every week!

IMO this is far from hate speech. There is nothing wrong for a race to want to secure it's existence.
