Yes I do but...
I HATE it even more when people come to my door, trying to push THEIR religion down my throat. I have my own beliefs, Thank you very much.
Just plain rude :-(

Very much so.
Though I'll take sellers any day over Mormons and Jehovah's Witnesses. The latter are the worst, and since today's Saturday I saw several as I was driving around earlier.
My neighbor has a clearly readable "No Soliciting" sign right above her doorbell. She cracks me up when someone dares to call on her -- she's a sweetheart, but is nonetheless capable of reaming them over the coals for not heeding a sign they couldn't possibly have missed.

My city tried to legislate door-to-door sales by requiring the salesperson to get a permit from the city. The courts struck down the law, which - if nothing else - would have kept those who may not have had the best intentions away.

I used to answer the door no matter who knocked or what time it was. We have finally decided we really don't have to do that. We now look out the window if it is someone we don't care to chat with or do not know about 90% of the time we do not anwer the door

Yes, except Girl Scouts. Those Jehovah's Witnesses are crazy. If they think they're converting anyone by going door to door they're mistaken.

Yes. I no longer answer the door if it is someone I do not know. I look thru the peephole and if I do not know them I go back to whatever I was doing.

YES!!! Especially hate the Jehovah's Witnesses when they come ringing the doorbells early on the weekends!!!!

one time i was going to put gas in my car and before i could even get out of the car this lady tries to sell me cookies. its not just at the door anymore.

Yes I do, we live in a very small town, and there seem to be alot of door to door sales.....it sucks.
