I used to love driving, especially at weekends.Get out into the Peak district, nice quiet country lanes, find a little country pub.
But because my job requires me to drive everyday,I can do upto 500 miles a week just around Nottinghamshire,Derbyshire and South Yorkshire and I come up against all kinds of restrictions, the worst being road works.
Local Councils in England are full of sadistic little bastards, who like nothing more than to get a road dug up,cone it off,put up temporary traffic lights and screw drivers for months on end.If I could afford to stop tomorrow I wouldn't hesitate.I would probably find that my stress level would drop dramatically.Yes,I used to love driving.

The older I get the more I'm beginning to hate driving.
So, many reckless, rude drivers on the road these days.
It's truly frightening sometimes.
Still, I'm glad I don't live in the days when horse back was the primary way to travel.
And, other than some horrible back up due to an accident.
I'm happy I still have the privilege.
I suspect if I live to old age I'll one day miss driving.

I liked it when I got behind the wheels for the first time, but then after a while I got kinda annoyed with it... So don't really like driving anymore :(
I'm only at the point of feathering the clutch too, but I think it's because of my driver instructor.
But perhaps a women driving instructor might be more encouraging to you? If you want to find one, I recommend going to: www.ukankan.co.uk and ask for a female driving instructor as they don't always give you one.. (*cough*)

I enjoy driving. It has a feeling of being in control. I can go where ever I want. If something happens I am in control. I am not in the hands of others. I like driving.

I like the privelage to drive, but driving long distances is not for me. The farthest I have ever driven was a 3 hour drive and that was enough for me. By the time I got to where I was going to go hiking, most of my energy was gone from the driving. Next time I am camping there lol

Too scared to drive faster then 35 miles an haour so no I dont.I am afraid with the high speed limits an idiot will crash me, or I will get pulled over for driving under the speed limit of 45. Since when did streets become freeways?!

I hate it. After 10 years of an hour and a half on the road going back and forth to work. Now I am working closer to home. 20 minutes both ways..

I usually like driving except when I almost run red lights because the pole is hidden behind a tree. And also night driving is always scary.

I enjoy driving long trips except when i hit the traffic, forget it!
