Downtown Hotels.

I highly recommend Hotel Teatro. I have stayed there on numerous occasions. The staff are second to none, the location is right in the heart of downtown, two high class restaurants (Kevin Taylor and Prima) located inside. 24 hour Concierge, Complementary drop off and pick up service within a 3 mile radius of the hotel.

If you want to luxury then this is the hotel for you and just a little tip if you decide to book here request a high floor, this way you get great views of the city and downtown area.

Also, if you need or want anything at all and I do mean anything then they will do everything they can to accommodate you.

If I could afford to I would live there!

There are a few trendy boutique hotels in Denver which would be on par with W Hotels. Hotel Magnolia is a very popular hotel and well located in downtown Denver. (http://www.magnoliahoteldenver.com/denver.aspx) There's also the Hotel Teatro and Hotel Monaco which would be considered among the best and most upscale in Denver.

I'm not sure what you mean by the "W" Hotel brand, but for our anniversary weekend we stayed at The Curtis downtown and loved it. It is very trendy and the staff is great and the food in the restaurant/room service is amazing. Can't beat the location either.

Hotel Teatro or Magnolia Hotel are both close to "W" -- if you're looking for 'name brand' -- The Westin is very upscale as well.

downtown hotels.
but you know what i've been there a few time and stay at the hotels near the airport.
They are reasonable and you can get around quick in the suburbs.
Also if you have to get to the airport, just a qucik ride.
