Waterproofers don't need that much work, most will soak in with little effort.

Are you talking just walls or walls & floors?

Sandblasting will leave your entire house a mess and depending on the waterproofer, will leave you with pitted walls & a rough floor. If you insist on doing it hire a pro, at least you will get good results.

Best of luck

PS Use Drylock waterproofer, all you have to do is paint it on. Good Stuff

WHY? Does the product you are going to use specify this process? Sandblasting takes special tools and safety equipment. I cannot imagine using one to do waterproofing.

probably isnt' necessary, if its all concrete or masonary walls, and nothign is in danger of water or your carefull, you can use a powerwasher. But not sure why you would want to sandblast for any reason, thats expensive, and overkill.
