Absolutely, and I think it is thoroughly disgusting that they were threaten with that fine if they did not remove the sign. Why don't they threaten Fox News with fines? *sm*

ok, if ya have some over zealous posters pasting signs on government buildings or other government property (city or federal) perhaps i see the reasoning. i myself was once an over zealous poster. we more or less pushed the limits. this should be taken as part of the game. and tit for tat, post twice as many posters elsewhere. the posters in question are really renegade posting and should never have mentioned the organization posting. the organizers should have seen this coming; it's elementary.
free speech has always had it's limits. no screaming fire in a crowded theater for example. and obviously, as in this case, no glueing signs to the walls of government buildings. at least don't sign your work
that said, please support the march on DC september 15!

I am sure they are free to advertise on TV or radio. The city has every right to regulate posters plastered up on city property, telephone poles, or whatever.
They as least get a ton of free advertising from the ordeal. The press coverage over the take down order was far better than the exposure they got from the posters anyway.

I went on a small rant asserting that in case you took scientific, pc, financial, etc., advice from the human beings on good right here heavily without diverse learn, you're an fool. undemanding and undemanding. suitable, that have been given me suspended. No previous violations or some thing. have they have been given an actual to try this? particular. they have their rules, thoroughly retarded that they may well be. Does this bypass against their project actuality? particular. each guy or woman thinks of Yahoo as this thrilling place to be and do thrilling themes, different than, you're on strategies. then you definitely've a thoroughly set of rules, trolls that seek for for human beings to chop back, and that i do now no longer even desire to commentary on the "human beings" who assessment the pleas to now no longer slump bills or answer why you gained yet yet another violation. very very final theory? Yahoo isn't the thrilling place they make it out to be. approximately as thrilling as Auschwitz interior the summertime optimal days in case you have a feeling of humor and attempt to coach it on strategies. My account would be suspended day after as we talk and you're in undemanding terms making my factor.

Its an easy fix! Remove the adhesive that does not meet standards.
No, its not an attack on free speech. Although I dont agree with the message, they are free to say what they want as long as it is done along city guidelines.

I understand that it is illegal for them to glue up their posters HOWEVER the government is prosecuting only the antiwar group, none of the other glued up posters. Selective prosecution, what a surprise.

They have no right to do that, but Bush has placed himself in a dictator role of complete infinite authority.
you are forgetting other rights, the right to congress-- the freedom to organize, freedom of press.
