A warrant CAN be issued the day you fail to appear in court.

You will get a letter in the mail for an impending warrant. After you receive that letter you will have ten days in which to pay it. Usually the warrant will be issued after that ten days. The only way to find out if you have a warrant, is to call the DJ or the courthouse and ask. They will tell you whether or not you have one. Don't worry about them rushing over to your house to arrest you, because they will not do that. I would recommend calling though instead of going to the office. Most times DJs will let you set up a payment arrangement to avoid the arrest. They are most times reasonable and they will also give you time before your first payment is due. There is no reason anyone should be arrested for unpaid parking tickets. Depending on where you live and how much the tickets are, they may put a boot on your car until the tickets are paid. I am in PA and that is what they do here. Give them a call, and see what they say, and I wouldn't worry too much!!! I am in the Criminal Justice field....Good Luck!!!!
