What I mean is, what kind of jobs are available for somebody who wants to make a career out of the theatre (besides the acting, of course)...how much do the actors get paid? How much do people of the differnet jobs get paid? As you can tell, I know almost nothing about the subject, so please fill me in!

Buy an old building, remodel it and let the plays come to you to pay the mortgage. You would have say over what's playing as you can decide what plays would draw in the crowds. you simply collect the rent and concessions and part of the profits.

It is very very difficult in all areas. Try searching "Career in the Theatre". Maby there is som info out there.
