Ive been wheeled to the naughty toilet and locked in, not allowed to come out until i learn to behave and not laugh in the shops!and who locked me in there,my wee daughter woaw role reversal whose the mum??lol xxx

I didn't belong to the 'naughty step' generation, I belonged to the get-to-your-room generation ..... the pub crawl I went on when I was 15 might have done it.
I had about ten snakebites that day and wasn't even tipsy, I don't think I can get drunk and haven't really tested it because I thought about that a lot and decided that if I could drink that much and not even feel it, I might become an alcoholic, so at 17, I decided to become teetotal to cancel out any risk.

yes i had to sit on the naughty step for one hour because i swore at my sister when i was 3 years old

I always used to be on the naughty step for one thing or another....I used to pick off the wallpaper while I sat there! lol

I went to work? The kids I watch often need to visit the naughty step and I have to accompany them.

It was called 'your room' when I was little! I used to be naughty just so Mum would send me there! It was great! I got away from my BIG sisters and could read in peace!

I never had a naughty step. It wasn't illegal to slap a child back then, therefore that's what my mother did with me whenever I misbehaved.

I don't know what I did, not even back then, all I remember is my mother separating my sister and I and sending us to different corners of the room and telling us to stay there and think about what we did and don't turn around until we were sorry...lol
my mother also put me in the coal bin for a while as a time out.
and another time locked (yep, turned the key) me in the basement.
And always she would say: "and you sit there (or stay there) and think about what you did"....lol.... It was always fun thinking about what I did.
