I was wondering if there is a specific Video Card that I'm supposed to buy to install on my computer (Gateway GT4016)?

Cheap options=8400GS or 8500GT
Better= 8600GT or GTS
Awesome= 8800GTS, GTX or Ultra

I checked the model for your PC online and it says that it uses the new PCIe or 'PCI Express' video bus. I'm more familiar with AGP but the hardware types know that PCIe is by far the better videocard bus. Here is a site where you can comparison shop for PCIe video cards:

Though it was not made very clear it seems to be any video card that supports the PCI Express x16 interface. Here is a list of video cards that can be installed on your motherboard:

heard there is a kind of usb video "usb card" from somewhere.

if have, 1st check the requirements of the usb video "usb card".
