What do you think of people from Yahoo Answers (specifically Jane who asked about asexuality and masturbation) who asks questions and then when you give them an honest answer, they email you and cuss you out about it?

I personally think that they are too thin-skinned to be on Yahoo Answers.

There is a very good statement that could be applied to those people that complain about the answers they get to their questions. I'm sure you have heard it before. If you don't want to pay with your time, then don't do the crime. To apply this to the person that didn't care for your answer I say this: If you don't want a truthful answer then don't ask the question. People who ask a vulgar or a questionable unnecessary type question can expect all kinds of answers of the same nature and with equal amount of vulgarity. They open the door for all types of criticisms. There are some questions that should not be displayed or asked on this site. Some people just like the attention, to see just how much feedback they get. It's tough to tell who is serious about their question, and who is not.

Well, I tried to look at some of your answers, but your network is private. Honest answers can be given without being rude. Maybe your "honest" answer offended her, but without seeing how you worded your answer I cant really say whether you deserved it or not. I do know what youre saying though.....there are too many people who are very fast to abuse you if you give them an answer that they dont agree with no matter how you word it. I was abused by a guy from England.....he said some terrible things about me because I answered a question according to Australian Law. He sent me an abusive email, even though he knew I was from a different country. I think some people are just mean spirited.

Yahoo Answers has to be taken with a grain of salt and an open mind. The thin skinned, holier than thou types shouldn't even ber here, but for some reason they can't stay away. Some questions are real, orhers bogus, some are pure BS. It's for entertainment purposes only, and an opinion at best.

Different people, different reactions. There is no such thing as being brutally honest. Because that's inconsiderate since we are all humans, which means we are all vulnerable. A little sensitivity does not hurt sometimes, if you know what I mean.

Strangers who aren't face to face don't sugar coat. They want a pseudo-honest answer. Fishers of ego strokes. Also, some are just looking to pick fights.
