A band lives on
in the hearts of many
from life to love, they are
the ones
who saved it all.
At the beginning
with nothing to spare
they decided to share
their wonderful gifts of talent
with the world in despair.
One cd after another
saving lives
and saving others
they grew in the hearts of fans
not just as heroes, but as one of the best bands.
Through thick and thin
MCR has been there
for all the fans, the believers,
the ones in trouble, truth be told,
there really is no double.
Every day I ask myself
where would I be
if these angels of rock hadn’t helped me
through the hard times, and sad cries.
where would we be ?
I do not worry about what the future holds
after my dear MCR is gone.
because I know that this band
will live on forever in the hearts of many.
after all. They are the ones who saved us all.

ok, for all u ppl who r wondering how mcr saves lives, listen to their lyrics, or at least read them and think about them. their lyrics have real meaning to them. and us fans relize that and understand the meanings. mcr's music has brought ppl out of depression and suicidal thoughts. hell, mcr even saved gerard's life. and for whoever said that mcr has the most suicidal fans, it's not true, cuz us fans listen to what gerard says, and we all know that suicide and violence is completly the opposite of what he believes in.

this is about the best poem I've ever read!!! but i don't like to read the part thats like "after my dear MCR is gone" - I just can't imagine it but so true on the "I know this band will live on forever in the hearts of many after all. They are the ones that saved us all" ... so true...

OMG that is so true, heck, MCR has saved my life from depression and stuff, I was like really depressed and that is why I fight for MCR, people I know say they go around influencing you to kill people and I get into big fights everyday about that saying why would they be saving lives then? It really gets on my nerves but all MCR fans know it isnt true that they dont want anyone to commit suicide and that is the biggest reason why I love MCR
