It's a reproduction of a WWII Nazi dagger, but it says "CHINA" in huge bold letters right along the center of the blade. There has to be a chemical that will do it, or something.

Is it a sticker, or is it engraved? If it's a sticker, peanut butter will take it off. But if it's engraved, you'll have to grind it down with a dremel tool and then add some engraving to cover it up. You could also buy etching fluid, but again you'd have to do some engraving because it will leave depressions where the letters used to be.

Or you could try to fill the letters with solder and then buff it down.

There's a product that you can buy at Wal-mart, or any store like that, called Goof-Off. Basically, it's mineral spirits. This should remove the paint without damaging your dagger. You just apply it with a cotton ball and rub it right off. It's great stuff!
