Yes, you can either believe in a God of some kind, like kathleen, or you can be a nihilist, like you are now.
I sometimes hear pessimists say that one shouldn't have children, as they will only suffer. But it is incorrect that they will only suffer: for they will also enjoy. Life is joy *and* suffering, not suffering only. If anything can justify your life - anything short of an afterlife, that is -, it is joy. Indeed, an afterlife, accurately understood, is a life that justifies itself. Heaven on earth is thusly a life that contains such joy that it justifies itself.
How would you feel if you had to live this life over and over again? If your death was followed immediately by your birth, and your whole life would repeat itself again (without foreknowledge)? Would you rather be dead or experience the same joys and sorrows you experience now? That is the question. If your life does not seem worthy to you to be endlessly repeated you should *make* it worthy - or die trying.

I, for one, would not want to get to Heaven and tell God, "I knew I was going to die eventually, so I did nothing"!!!
A break-up is a temporary situation and you will meet other guys. Just guard your heart!!!
Get the best education you can possibly get, get the best job you can get, and earn the best salary you can so that you can look your best and live where you want to and have everything you need and help those you wish to help.

If your life is so worthless then why are you still here?
I think that you know that there is a purpose for your existence . Get a grip on reality, and get on with your life?
