I used to work at car wash in chandler for about 2 1/2 years and senior citizens was 1/4 of our customers. What they do is either come twice a week with a coupon or they buy a annual pass with a coupon. I've found that if you wash your car and wax it once a month your car will look brand new for years. Also try going to the full service washes because they have make sure your happy prior to leaving. I guess the old bags already know that.

They have the time, and the pride to keep their stuff in good repair. They had to work hard all their lives, and didn't have Daddy buy them a car when they turned 16. If they wanted it, they worked for it. Now that they are retired, the money doesn't come in as fast as it used to, so they want to get all the value out of their cars that they can.
I hate to say it, but I'm starting to get that way myself. You really need to make things last, since you can't just go out and spend whatever you want anymore.

Nice talk ("Old bags")!!! I'm "only" sixty, but have learned that by keeping my vehicles clean, waxed the interior shampooed and vacuumed, repairing dents and/or dings and performing regular scheduled maintenance, my cars always look and perform at their very best. I admit it is hard sometimes, to avoid "door dings", especially when "young whipper-snappers" often don't look before opening their car doors when parked next to me....Good luck

That the car needs cleaning , that it is not a restaurant, and the place for trash is in the trash can. If it's on the floor pick it up. And if you take care of what you have paid for , it will last longer.

First of all they only drive 1000 miles a year, and never in the rain, snow or at night.... then they keep them in a garage %100 of the time....

I'm an old bag and I refuse to tell you. You are rude. Insult people and then expect an answer? Not smart.
