I was going to put it towards a house, but then I realized, I don't want a house, I want a babe magnet
I was thinking of buying myself a $17,000 cherry 1965 Mustang convertible off a friend and with the remainder buy a big screen TV and donate $1,000 to charity (cause women I want dig a guy who thinks of others)
But I'm thinking there might just be something cooler out there.

spend the money on a house. then stick with donating the $1,000 to charity.(i think that's sweet of you. donating for the needy!) save some more money and get a cherry 1965 mustang then.

I would invest a portion of it, therefore whenever you want to purchase a home or some other piece of real estate you will have some money growing.
The car is a nice touch; however it is probably more for you than for a woman.. as most women are not big car buffs. Men tend to be.
Get the car if it will make you feel better.. but if it were me, I would invest the bulk, do the charity thing and then rely on my wit, charm & personality to attract the person I wanted.

The house is the best investment.The car might get you a girl until she realized you live in your mom's basement.
