People tend to swear by their own brands as far as computer equipment goes. I posted some common review sites that will have some good feedback on them. I myself prefer linksys wireless routers. I have had an 802.11b and an 802.11g and both are still working effectively.

Linksys is the cheap and reliable wireless internet router that you can pick form your local retailer.
I have used Apple, netgear, linksys.
1. linksys is the cheap and easy to setup
2. Apple router is expensive but more power (but was very hard to intall i don't know why)
3. Netgear N genration to cover 2 story house

I'd go to Walmart, and buy a Linksys!( i before e, except after c!)
