no because the human population is growing exponentially and we would eventually outgrow any amount of natural resources that the earth could possibly produce, thus famine, wars, and disease act as natural deterrents to human population....
you should read something called "Essay on the Principle of Population" by thomas malthus

Enough food and water already exist for everyone. It's can you make a profit or do you want these people to survive that's the question. So, your answer is no, humans can't fix it .

It is possible to achieve many things if we work together for the common good. however, not everyone is a team player. selfishness in a common trait in humans, and they will not do anything that does not benefit them exclusively.

Yes. but it would require everyone on the planet to recycle all organic waste, including the dead, and require a vegan existence as there would be no room for animals on what would be a planet divided into roughly 50/50 for farming crops and for habitable living space.

Yes, but why would the powers that be want to do that? The population has exploded from one billion to approx seven billion in the last one hundred years. The earth couldnt cope with another increase like that.

Of course its possible. But the people who need the food do not have the money to pay the people who could make it happen. So, untill it becomes economically feasible (read:
make someone very very rich) it won't happen.

I don't believe it is.
The first thing humanity has to do is stop living in environments that can't support it and to stop breeding at an unsustainable rate.
Then maybe the earth could sustain us without starvation or depletion of resources occuring.

NO.
This is not due to a lack of resources, but rather to the socio political situation in countries of the third world.
People are basically sinful, and unbridled corruption is rampant in countries where small cadres of the powerful control all the resources. For example, why are people starving in African nations that have rich oil reserves? SOMEbody is using that money for SOMEthing, but it sure isn't food for the hungry....most likely to fund genocide.
Also, what happens to all of that aid we send to such countries, food aid, monetary aid...much of it goes into the WRONG hands.
It is hard to change human nature unless that change is spiritual.

It's possible, but would probably never happen because not enough people want to put in the effort. It's pretty sad actually.

I didn't read that article, but I can tell you that it is NOT possible, BECAUSE people are too dang stingy to help those less fortunate than themselves.
