Those of you liberals out there, you are constantly upset. You're angry. You have Battered Liberal Syndrome. The people you've been voting for, they don't make the problems go away, even though they say they will. You don't have health insurance, you don't have this, you don't have that. You keep voting for the same people and you're still miserable. It's like Battered Wife Syndrome. You get sweet talked, then you get clobbered again. How much abuse are you going to take? Isn't it about time to say, "I've had enough! I'm not taking it anymore!"? How long will you accept the unacceptable? How long will you tolerate the intolerable? Come on over to the right, where people are happy.

I think there's a support group based in San Francisco that's sponsored in part by their police commissioner...

The only reason why you're happy on the right is that ignorance is bliss. The neoconservatives have abandoned everything that once made the Republican party worth your votes. They used to believe in a smaller federal government, but now they believe in oppression, and want to change the Constitution to allow for more oppression. They used to believe in less spending, but now they spend more than any Democrat in recent history. People try to justify Bush's spending by saying it's all for the war, but Reagan spent nearly as much when the country wasn't at war. Democrats have been downright thrifty by comparison, and the Clinton administration was the only one in the past three decades with a balanced budget. As for the "war on terror", what a joke! Haven't you seen "Wag the Dog"? The Iraq war is just a distraction because Bush has no clue how to really fight terrorism. The Democrats have their flaws too, and I'd gladly vote for an independent if a good one came along, but at least the Democrats are open about their agenda. The Republicans do the opposite of everything they claim to stand for, with the possible exception of "staying the course" on the war, but where is that getting us? Deeper in debt and nothing more, as far as I can see.

The scary thing is that you diehard Republican voters still keep preaching the old-school Republican gospel of less government and less spending, even though all of the facts show that your leaders are dong the opposite. Do you read the news at all or do you only listen to Rush Limbaugh? In case you hadn't noticed, he's a propagandist, not a news man. Take a look at the real facts and figures, and I think you'll see that your party is letting you down.

I'm sure the liberals have a poster like the females do on rules. The final rule is if the males ever figure out the rules the woman is obligated to change them. It is clear with that as the over riding rule they don't wish to be happy. If heaven (read Utopia) came to earth, (examples) the surfer liberal would find himself on a snow covered perfectly manicured slope & the snow bunny would be on a beautifully shaped wave - they'd both be complaining about how bad it was instead of thinking maybe there is someone that would like to swap places - fix the problem. Of course they wouldn't think of seeing the beauty of their location.

We in the 1st world have it so dam good. Do we ever consider we could have been born into the 3rd world?

As much as I agree with the idea and statement of the voters being the battered wife and the politicians being the abusive husband, I disagree with your statement on the right.

Currently both parties are wrong and just as destructive. America needs a new ideology and party that cares about America, not power and wealth.

Actually, now I'm suffering from being a moron. That made my IQ drop to 0.

Every American who buys into party politics are schizophrenics because they are so out of touch with reality!

I think I'll hang out where I am. I'm curious as to how the Democrats lied? It hasn't been for the lack of effort. Everyway they try there is a veto waiting for them. And the Republicans are just plain afraid.

you'd probably consider me a liberal, and i'm quite happy. i'm baked right now, and i'm listening to some really good music (some japanese girl rappers from the early 90s), and there's some nice trees outside my window, and i'm in a really good mood, and if i saw you in person, i would say 'hi', and exchange pleasantries, and genuinely hope that you had a great day.

It kind of sounds like the poor guy who continues to vote for Republicans. We are only now seeing the consequences of the artificial economy. Soon, we will have to make a choice: raise interest rates and taxes and suffer a recession, or raise interest rates to attract foreign money to cover our Bush deficit, and, you guessed it, suffer a recession.

How about another $400 tax break fella?

Nope. I'm very happy on the left of center line. Folks on the right...happy...sure doesn't seem like it...just listen to right wing talk radio. Folks on the right are pretty angry folks.
