If you get them started early enough and into the ground and in full sun, you could indeed grow them. It is not as easy as it is out here in California, but you can do it.

Yes indeed. The Burpee seed company grows them in their demonstration garden in Pa.

We have had success with cantaloupe in PA. They don't grow as big, but they are sweet and juicy.
