I don't know what is going on today. But for some reason they just jumped in front of the car. Never had this much bad luck in a day.

Anything like this ever happen to someone else?

Depending on your area, and the route you take, you may have hit a run of bad luck, or something may have spooked the animals forcing them into the roadway!

You do not say what kind of animals you hit, but seeing as you do not mention serious damage to your vehicle, I am going to assume that they are small. (hit one deer, cow, horse or moose and you can total your car!)

Either a fire or some construction caused the animals to be on the road, or you just hit a time when they were active! No matter what the reason, unless you were trying to hit them, it was not your fault!

Sometimes it is better for you to hit a small animal than to risk a wreck trying to avoid it! I have seen cases where people were killed when a driver lost control attempting to avoid an animal on the highway!
Good luck

I've hit a few ( rarely ) live, but THREE in one day? I can't even remember when I hit the last live animal, it's been many years. Wow, that is a bad string of luck ( for them ). Maybe some predators were spooking them. Were you driving in the country?

I have to say I have never run over anything live, they have always been dead already... hedgehogs, birds and such like.
