Chairs are [obviously] designed to be sat on, where as tables are designed to be sat at. Why then, is it the case that tables are more comfortable for sitting on than chairs?

Because When We Sit On Tables, Our Legs Dangle, Thus Relieving Pressure We Would Otherwise Endure While Sitting On A Chair.......On Chairs We Are Stiff Because Our Feet Are Planted And Cropped On The Floor, Whereas On Tables We Are Free To Spread Our Arms And Rest Our Hands While Our Feet Float Freely And Weightless As We Swing Them In A Comforting Back And Forth Motion..........

Well sitting on tables would eventually damage your back and cause you pain due to the height and dynamics of the designs.. unless of course if you sat on a small childrens table as the height is shorter..
... so continue to sit on chairs mate like the rest of us unless you want to take regular trips to the oesteopath and give them vast sums of money ...

The tables may well be more comfortable:but what are you going to eat off?chairs or high tables.

i don't think they're always more comfortable than chairs, just sometimes. and i guess we have more room (for stuff on the table) when we sit on chairs.

we sit on chairs as it is called manners and sitting on tables only feels good cause we know we should not be doing it
