Hi Death is happiness! first of death is nothing like happiness mate, I know first hand. I was suicidal as a young man, and just don`t go there, seek help if you need to! But back to your question; yes my friend, you can! After nearly 25 years alone (after a bad breakup), a woman contacted me on the yahoo something. She living in Florida, me in little Norway. Well after about 3 months, she moved to me, and we are more happy than ever. So love have no boundaries my friend, never give up pal, it comes when you least expect it, or so it did to me, she swept me away...... . Good luck, peace and love from Norway

No. Not until you've met them. Internet relationships are pure fantasy until you've spent a week or so together at least. That's when you find out what the other person is truly like. There is a huge difference between normal, daily, interpersonal relationships and words communicated via email and chat. Not to say that it can't develop into love, but until you've spent time with them, seeing the good and the bad, looked into their eyes, seen their bad habits, what they do well, and what they do poorly... you really can't have true love. You may think it is, and it may feel like love, but it's only built on fantasy. Meet her. Then you'll know. Good luck.

Well, My husband and I met on the internet about 6 years ago. We have been married for 3. I think it really just depends on the person. Truly, some people can and some people can't. With meeting on the internet, at first you have a mental connection, without having a physical connection. you can fall in love with someone for who they are, as opposed to what they look like(not saying that looks don't matter).
just my 2 cents on the matter.

For me, love is a compilation of what you have learned about a person, and how that meshes into what you are. So I would
say it is very possible. I would even go so far as to say that it
could be more of a possibility than say meeting in a bar, over a couple of corny lines. The more I know. The better i like it.

I met my husband over the internet he lived 810 miles away from me to be exact we talked to each other for 4 weeks before he flew to New Orleans to meet me then the next week I was on a train moving to Florida to be with him. I been here 5 yrs and just got married to him 7 weeks ago.
I knew after that first week of talking to him that I was in love with him. That he was my soul mate.
He is in the process of adopting my 2 children. They should have our last name by next month.

Yes you can. It happens. Not all love begins in a bar or a drug party peopled by a bunch of drunk wannabes who don't know anything. In that way, internet relationships are pure as snow.

Well, in allot of cases you do not know the "real" person. You know the person they want you to see. It's like your meeting a character from a book. You can't interact with them on a grander level. You can't see how they live or how the interact with others...........If you do fall in love it is only with an image...

Questions like this one have gotten positive answers of people who actually are living together or got married and some are even putting out questions that tell you they are in love with someone here. I guess that means it's possible.
