It depends on which password you are talking about, if it is the Operating System password - take a look at this link:

If it is the CMOS - then you are sol - you will have to call the manufacturer on that one and good luck getting help there.

Hey fella. If you set a password in your BIOS then you will have to format your hard drive. Never set a password for your BIOS.
If you set a password for your windows and forgot the password you will have to trick your computer into going into safe mode. I do this by waiting to see the windows load screen and then turning off the pc before windows can load. keep doing this until your computer gives you the option of booting windows in safe mode. once booted in safe mode simply change the passwords of the accounts in control panel then reboot your system properly. I am sure there are other ways of doing this but this is the method i use.

thats stupid u forgot ur administrator password you might have to do something in safe mode as a guest account.

you might have to wipe your computer.
that means your computer will loose all
its memory to the point of when it can out of manufacturing.
thins is the only thing i can think of
