For some unknown reason my 11"X18' roll is giving me a problem.I am following directions and leaving 3" to go into the drip tray and still no results. Do I have a defective model VS240 ?
I purchased this at Kohls in May of '07. could it be I have defective rolls? I bought 4 packages each with 2-11"X18'=144ft.
The rolls that came with the machine was rough on both sides and the new one's are smooth on one side and rough on the other. What am I doing wrong?

Victor, you have posted this under dining out in Boston. If you want your answer, you may have to repost. Her are two suggestions: (1) call the housewares department at Kohl's and ask a sales clerk (2) search for the manufacturer's website. Good luck.

Well, I'll give you some credit for being a very creative and educated troll. BTW, catching a grammatical/spelling error on Y!A doesn't make you super smart, just observant. Misspelling go with the territory here. What are you're takes on hour surrent situations here in terms of speeling and grammaticalee incorrect responses??(O-M-G!! I makes missteaks on mine sentenses)

Smooth side up...just put enough into the sealer to touch the vacuum tray...if still a problem call help-line number located on the box of either the bags or sealer...Good Luck...
