How do I overclock a E4300 for gaming. I have an Asus P5NSLI

50% overclock should be easy with a stock cooler and on stock voltages. Beyond that, better consider cooling solutions from Thermalright, Zalman, Scythe, Arctic, etc.

The best way to do is it to open up the BIOS when your computer starts, normall press F2 or Delete to get in. It will say to enter setup press __ or something similar. You can also use a program to do it. Ask on http://xtechforum.com for program recommendations.

WARNING: ONLY OVER CLOCK 5-10MZ AT A TIME! Test and see if everything is OK, then move up another 5-10Mz, i know this takes a while at first, but its worth not burning up your processor over. Watch your temps at first. As long as you take precautions its unlikly anything bad will happen. but its worth the extra time.
