i live near Cleveland Ohio and i was wondering if anyone knew where i could buy candy from the late 50s early 60s... i want to get my dad something different for his birthday. He was talking to me today about the candy he used to eat as a kid...and i thought it would make a neat gift if i got him a gift basket with all the different types of candy he ate as a child

Might be easier to order some candy from a "retro" candy site. Search on line for sites. I've listed a few. Or if you wanted to look around town-try Candy Corner or Campbell's at the West Side Market.

I have ordered candy from both The Vermont Country Store and from Old Time Candy. They have a great selection of retro candy. Ask your dad what he remembers as his favorite candy from his childhood.
