This is actually a quote by E.C. Riegel which Omosun has used, and properly credited in his writings.

Okay, I totally see what he's saying, and that most people (like me) would just say it's common sense and agree with it.

The problem is that it MUST BE philosophically justified,or it won't hold up. There are too many petty tribal and religious loyalties and alliances that the people there let take a priority over the establishment of a philosophical basis for moving forward.

For example, John Locke provided the final persuasive philosophical argument which pushed Christian religious bickering aside and allowed for the creation of the most successful nation in the world...The United States of America.

Until this can happen in Africa, progress will not be made.
