Don't look for him to be in a jersey anytime soon, unless it has stripes on it. He won't play this year and probably not for a few if ever again.

And I won't miss him a bit.

The commissioner (Roger Goodell) has asked him to stay away from Falcons training camp until everything is sorted out...not an official suspension, yet. As of now he has NOT been suspended for the regular season. The above poster saying November is confused. That's when the trial is supposed to start.

Of course suspension is a pretty good possibility even if Vick doesn't take the plea agreement offered to him and elects to go to trial.

If he does take the agreement, then obviously the only team he'll be playing for for the next 12-18 months is the prisioners vs. the guards a la "The Longest Yard."

Arthur Blank (the owner) said before last night's Falcons game vs. Buffalo that he is very upset that apparently Vick lied to him personally, the Falcons as an organization, and to Roger Goodell when Vick said a few months ago that he had nothing to do with the dog fighting. That sounds to me that Blank is looking for a way to void Vick's contract on the basis of conduct detrimental to the team rather than simply release him and take the salary cap hit.

Either way I think he's played his last game for the Falcons, if not the NFL as a whole.

People keep saying "if" he comes back. Who honestly thinks he's coming back? Who's he going to play for if he does? Could you imagine the deafening boos he would receive if he were to run back onto the field? I wouldn't want him as the QB for my team, let alone any other. He has done irreversible damage to the image of the NFL.

And to all these people who say "Let it play out, let's see what happens, innocent until proven guilty" get real, read a paper, watch the news. The guy is guiltier than OJ.

Who really cares? He was never a good Quarterback. Now we know he was a vile human being. If he does come back, it's not going to be for at least 2 seasons. After that I'd be very doubtful if he'll every be an impact player again. Certainly, he won't be worth $130 million ever again. Maybe he can do reality shows with his criminal brother.

As of now he is NOT allowed to play this year. Looks like he may never play again. We know and hear about it for the rest of the season. Hope someday people stop yalking about him and talk about the football game.

Are you asking for the real answer or a prediction?

The real answer as of now is that Roger Goodell has not yet decided.

Prediction: He will not play this year. He will face jail time. He will try and make a comeback after jail time, and the whole circus will start again.

Roger Goodell suspended vick until November. by then, he'll be arrested for his charges. all of his co-defendants have pleaded guilty and said vick was also involved. vick probably won't play another game again.

He will never play in the NFL again. He will get plenty of practice as a 'spread wide- receiver' in prison though.
