I have done some research about the area and the homes. It seems like a pretty nice suburban area.

I was just wondering if there is a little downtown area that you can just walk around or that has a few restaurants.....or do you really have to go to Denver for restuarants and entertainment?

Would you want to live in Littletown or is it boring compared to other towns in the Denver metro region?

It depends on your age and where your interests lie (or is it lay)?

Littleton has fabulous shopping, excellent schools and is a great place to raise a family.

If you're in your 20's -- downtown is your playground.
If you're over 30, then the suburbs are more suitable.

I am in my late 30's and I love Main Street in Littleton, very charming... there are restaurants and shops, a theatre and coffee shops galore.

The distance between downtown Denver and Littleton is 10-20 minutes, so if you want the excitement of a big city, you can easily achieve it as well.

My opinion -- I grew up in Littleton and now live in Highlands Ranch.

I lived in Littleton for a while, mainly the Highlands Ranch and Lonetree area. Littleton is really nice. The heart of Littleton is probably considered to be on Prince st (downtown). They have little shops and stuff, nothing really exciting. If you move to Littleton, downtown Denver is probably less than 10 minutes away so you really have nothing to worry about.

But if you want to have equal access to everything in the Denver area, you should consider moving to Greenwood Village, aka the Denver Tech Center. I live there and I am in the center of everything and it is awesome.

Littleton is nice. Typical suburb. It's close enough to Denver that you actually have a great deal to do inside and outside the city.

Personally, I think Highlands Ranch (south of Littleton), is better. It's more unique, and has more upscale restaurants and shopping.
