I can't figure out how to fix this. When I punch in an equation it makes it bigger. I just want the answer. Also if I punch in sqrt(30) it says the answer is sqrt(30). If I punch in PI2 it gives me PI2.
How do I get it to give me numbers?

You are in exact mode. To switch to real mode, add a decimal point to the number you punch in..
sin(30.) as opposed to sin(30)
Did you read the User's manual that came with the calculator? It is all in there, page 3-1...

Hi,
I don't have the calculator, so I am guessing. You probably need to look under something like a mode or settings key. Your calculator is set for exact answers. You want decimal expressions, which are often approximate.
