i need ot know how to work this problem. the two on the first x is x squared. so is the -2 outside of the parentheses. sorry it wouldn't let me show the problem like that

f(x)=(x2 -4)(x+3)-2
f(x) =(x^2-4)/(x+3)^2
Since the denominator is squared it will always be positive regardless of the value of x. thus x can be any number except -3 because this would be divisin by 0, and so its domain is all the real numbers except -3.

The zeroes are x = +/-2 because these are the values that make f(x) = 0.

Use ^2 for a square.

It's (x^2-4) / (x+3)^2.
Domain: where defined, so where (x+3)^2 is not 0

Zeroes: Where a/b = 0 is where a = 0, so where x^2-4=0
