I am going into my freshman year at 5'5 and 120 lbs. I run the 40 in a 4.8 and have a good tackling catch and rarley fumble the ball. I bench 120lbs. Clean 170lbs. and squat 200lbs. I need to go into my football practice to now what position i should do. I also cannot kick worth anything.

I think you would make a good defensive back. Its probably the best position for playing time as a freshman. I would concentrate on one of the Safety positions depending on what defense your team uses.

well if you can gain like 45pounds you can be a Defensive End or a LineBacker cuz at 120 ur gonna get the crud knocked out of you cuz im a freshman to and i knocked the crud out of a linebackedr who was like 135 so u need weight man if you want to tackle but if ur afraid to hit just be a reciever or a running back but just gain about 20 pounds so u can stand ur ground against the defense cuz this aint jr high and more if u aint ready ur gonna get knocked out

well. here is the deal my friend, it doesnt matter what you WANT to do nor what you tell you coach what you THINK you should do....

based on practice he will asigne you a position, i played in high school and that is just the way it is. Play with all your heart and you should fall into the position that will fallow you forever

I personally think you should be a line backer but when the coach says something else just do it trust me it'll end up alot better

defensive middle linebacker or defensive end, offensive tight end
