Is money funny?

Is it funny? At all? How about in a rich man's world? What about in a poor man's? In a middle class man's?

like my dad says money is funny in a sense that when you have it you can't help want to spend it and when you do spend it something breaks and now you have no money. after spending a lot of money you feel really good but when theres nothing left you wonder where it went, that's funny. no mattter what class you belong to most people want more money and when you get it all we do is give it to someone else so what is the purpose of getting it in the first place if we are going to turn right around and give it away. a rich man might have everything he wants but the simplest things that he longs for he cannot get. a poor man might not have much or nothing but when he gets something that is a treasure to him even if it is only one penny. the middle man will always want to be like the rich man and never the poor man. he will work everyday to achieve those two. personally money if not funny money is never there. it is like having a boyfriend/girlfriend- some have one some don't some never, the ones who do look for someone who will love them more then the next and the ones who seem to have it all get bored of having it all after a while and want to go back to searching for someone again. the only difference a soul mate is the end to the journey but with money there is no end unless you give up all material pocessions and like buck naked, no money, nothing.

if you are poor and want to be rich it probably kind of sucks. or if you are starving that would really be bad.

at the same time i wouldn't want to have to pay oprah's pyschologist -- you could probably feed 1/2 of a continent on what she spends on her hair too.
