To find this slope of thie line containing the points (0,0) and (3,30) you use the formula
slope (m) = y2 - y1/ x2 - x1
Since (0,0) is (x1,y1) and (3,30) is (x2,y2) you can now plug it into the formula like this...
m=30 - 0 / 3 - 0
m=30 / 3
m=10
Therefore, the slope of the line containing points (0,0) and (3,30) is 10.
Hope this helps!!

The formula to find slope when given two points on a line is...
(y2 - y1) / (x2 - x1)
This however, can be tricky. Make sure that one point is (x1 , y1) and the other point is (x2 , y2). A common mistake is to call the first point (x1 , x2). It doesn't matter which point is which, just matters that you put them in the right place in the equation once you decide which is (x1 , y1) and which is (x2 , y2).
I'll call (0 , 0) = (x1 , y1)
and (3 , 30) = (x2 , y2)
now plug into the equation.
(30 - 0) / (3 - 0)
30 / 3
slope (m) = 10
Even if you named (3 , 30) = (x1 , y1)
and you named (0 , 0) = (x2 , y2)
you'd still get the same answer...
(0 - 30) / (0 - 3)
-30 / -3
m = 10

the slope of a line is the rise of it (the differences between y values) divided by the run of the line (the differences between x values)
y2-y1 = 30 - 0 = 30
x2 - x1 = 3 - 0 = 3
slope = rise divided by run = 30 / 3 = 10

(0,0) and (3,30)
The slope = (y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1)
= ( 30-0) / (3-0 )
= 30/3
= 10
