I need it for my new computer please help!

Your WEP key is not located on your computer. I am sure that it is a 9 or 10 digit number that is found on your DSL or wireless modem.
Try looking where you would find the serial number and such.

it is encrytped in the Network Connection.

since you can't read it from there [or the underlying file it stores it in], what you have to do is reset the WEP password on your router and then set it to the same thing on all of the Wi-Fi computers that use that router.


ya, it's a pita. what i do is write mine down on a postem and tape it to the underside of the router.
