The olympics is a big deal. But this isn't the place to be asking. Most people here probably know nothing about the intense years of training and how good you have to be and all the pressure put on you.

Think about it.

i dont think you should train specifically for the olympics, more like train for your sport, and if youre good enough to be in the olympics, so be it. if you really think youre one of the top, say 100, in the country then i guess go for it. i got an olympics trials cut this summer in two events for swimming (i think im seated 32nd in my best event and 74th in the other) so making the olympics will be a long shot but im having fun and excited for next summer. and i am a sate record holder and i still probably wont make it. that just gives you an idea of how good you have to be. but dont dedicate your life to it, cause after youll have nothing. do well in school and stuff too.

LOL!! no offence but there is a selection trial where you compete agaist other serious athletes that want to go to the Olymics too. Though, yeh you may be the best in ur class but that like only like atleast 30 people. Training for the Olympics requires a Qualifyies Coach too and they may have the selection trials in afew months time, so that's like afew months to train to get to that elite stage where you can be fit enough to to compete for your counrty.

Everyone who is into sport dreams of attending the Olimpics. So do you I guess. And I think that you are very young and you have your chances to make this dream come true.It takes a lot of hard work and special preparation,it won't be easy but you ought to try.Go on and don't give up ;- )

Citius, altius, fortius...-YES.

Why so? Having a goal is as important as training 2x7x52x10
(Twice a day, seven times a week, 52 weeks a year, and 10 years)

And you don't have to be an olympian just to improve... But as I said... Having goal is as important as training.

if you think you are ready and willing to work hard, handle the pressure, do your best everytime you practice, starting this day and till you qualify for the olympics then yes..

usually i go for positive attitude, so i would encourage you to start training, and head for the olympics, get a good coach, do your best, be positive, and dont let people hold you back..

but dont forget to live your life too.
good luck.

not unless you know that you are really qualified and you know you can beat everyone.. Plus you might change your mind as you grow older. If not just aim for the gold!
