Is this a good or bad move on the part of GM Kenney Williams and the Sox?

I think it is a good move on the part of Kenny Williams because even though Dye has had a disappointing season, he is only one year removed from his career year of 44 HR and 120 RBI. Maybe he can rebound next year with numbers similar.

Good move. It is 2 years, $22 million plus a mutual option. It is a below-market contract seeing as though he could have easily got 4 years, $50Mish. He will be a bargain for the first 1 1/2 years after which I'm sure his numbers will fall and the trade talk will heat up once again.

The biggest baseball mistake ever involved Jermaine Dye being traded from KC to Oakland in a three-team deal that yielded - Neifi F. Perez. Dye should have never left KC.

I hope they get their money's worth. Dye set a "sort of" record when with the A's and they sent him to their Triple-A club for rehab. That club is the Sacramento River Cats and their park, Raley Field, has one of the highest daily and season attendance figures in the minors. Well, the three games that Dye played in at Raley Field, the attendance went down! LOL!

I was thinking the W-Sox should kinda rebuild their team with younger players. I know this team won a world series 2 years ago, but it just doesnt seem to be working. I would like to see younger players there.
