if you just straighten it out and it doesn't leek it will be OK the orifice at the end is so small that chances are your twisted pipe wont cut off the entire flow of propane. so don't try to get all the kinks out or you may end up with a leek just be careful and don't check for leek with a match although that's the way many plumbers do it. if your twisted line is at the tank end and easy to get to cut out the bad line and use two flair couplings and a small piece of copper tubing in between . you shouldn't use compression fittings on gas lines use the flair fittings if you don't know the difference hire someone who does don't use Teflon tape or pipe dope on flair connections it wont hurt to use it its just that the seal isn't made at the thread of the nut its made at the flair good luck hope I was a help

Copper Propane Line

NEVER ever use a compression fitting or solder a gas line. The only thing that is legal and safe for copper is a flare fitting.Twisted copper is extremely difficult or impossible to untwist and if you do get it to untwist it may be very weak at that point. This could be dangerous on an RV.I would recommend cutting it and replacing a small section or to the next closest fitting.Flaring copper tubing isn't that difficult but requires a flaring tool and tubing cutters to do this. Both of these tools can be purchased at any hardware store.Practice a couple of flares til you get a flare that covers the end of the flare fitting and will allow the nut to go over it.Do not over tighten and check with a soapy solution when done.

You probably can. Copper is ductile.
But it's a flammable gas line.
It's been weakened.
I'd replace it.

turn off tank , get pipe cutter, cut line, go get a coupling compression fitting, install, ferrels and nuts, turn tank on, get some soap bubbles and leak check

I would take it loose and swedge and solder the fitting.
