still find in the park. The ones where you can really get some height.

I love to just fly on them. It's a great sensation!

gw, you and Sylvia D are sent to the back of the line... naughty.
And no, I'm not in my second childhood. I just like to swing.

Love to swing, I remember trying to get it as high as I could.
We would also swing high, and jump off. Living dangerous, then. Swing and then lay back horizontal and let the breeze fly throught your hair and look at everthing upside down. Close your eyes and pretend you were flying. .

Yes I still do when I take the grand kids to the park. My grandson and I put a tire swing in his back yard last summer.
When I was 4 or 5 and at my grandparent's farm we had a tree swing with a wooden seat that when you went too high you would fly over a muddy place where the pigs would be all covered with mud and cool. Looking back it was a dangerous
place to have a swing. But it sure was fun!

I'm not much of a swinger anymore ;) I used to like to swing on those old swings tied way up high in an old tree. That way each swoop forward or backward took a long time and you could really get up high. Haven't seen a swing like that in a long time now. Everything's those little stubby gym sets that kids don't use in their backyards now. I don't blame them.

I haven't been on a swing in awhile. I am sure its still fun.
I still like Merry-Go-Rounds, but now I just sit on the bench seat instead of the horse.

I could really use some grand kids. I am ready to live my second childhood (sigh).

PS. Don't get the inside joke, don't want to try

Gldsinc, I have to say, when I first saw your q I thought on the same lines as Goldwing. lol
Next I thought about how exciting it would be to swing in the park as you have mentioned, in the uk I've never seen a big enough swing to fit me!

Finally, I wondered what got you thinking about swings, and that reminded me of strings and what I could pull with one! yes you do know what I'm saying I know, what a pity not everyone is not in on our little joke! lmao x

oh I love it. I use to swing with my kids all the time at the park!

Can't wait until my Grand baby is old enough for big kids swings so I can quit pushing and swing next to her!

I love to swing! The swings at the playground are fun, but still not as much fun as a tree swing.

The swings in the park don't come in extra large! But I would love to, as long as my arms held up from pumping so high.
