There has been quite a bit of talk about this (behind closed doors) in Washington.

I see a lot of upsides. Cuba has better beaches, better cigars, and it never snows there.

I haven't been to Havana, but I have been to Detroit many times and I gotta belive Havana has to be better.

Seems to me it would be a good trade.

The only problem is that ,if we do that trade, then Cuba will become a Muslim country. And all are cars will take on a cigar looking shape.

I am really sick of everyone associating the ENTIRE state of Michigan with Detroit!!!! It's not all industry and crime. It's full of beautiful rural areas rich in agriculture and history. Why don't you try visiting other areas of my home state before you write us off as unworthy to the rest of the country.

Maybe we can get them to throw in a couple of first round draft picks and future considerations as well, say one of the Islands in the Bahama's for example.
I mean, it's a negotiation, go large.

I live in Michigan.

The state is beautiful, (but I do hate snow) and there is plenty of hunting and fishing, snowmobiling, skiing, etc to do here.

BUT our economy STINKS, big time. I can't get a steady job. I think we should take our dumbass governor and dump her back in her homeland of Canada. (no offense to our lovely Canadian neighbors but we simply don't want her here anymore. Please take her back)

No. We have enough people here already that don't want to work. We don't need more Cubans.
