Forget about Bin Laden’s direct progeny. It is neither Bin Laden’s offspring, nor the capital he has at his disposal that makes him so lethal, nor his position in Al Qaeda that makes him so dangerous. What makes Bin Laden such a threat is his ideology, and as most ideologies tend to do, it will out live Bin Laden.
It isn’t Bin Laden, the man, that we should fear, but it is Bin Laden, the idea, that should strike us with a sense of trepidation. Bin Laden is merely a symbol of the religious inspired militancy of the Middle East. He is also emblematic of what can happen when America becomes too apathetic to how it treats people around the world, and what happens when we stay ignorant of cultural developments.
To destroy Bin Laden, will require more than merely killing and burying the man. What you have to do is vanquish the ideology, for which, Bin Laden is only a mouthpiece. In order to do that you have to stop being politically correct, and stop saying that Islam is a religion of peace and that these militants are merely hijacking and misusing the religion. No! It must be proclaimed that Islam is not a religion of peace, and it, more than any other major faith today, has ideas in it that inure people to violence, and it has ideas in it which are inimical to modernity and democracy.

According to the following website and an Arabic newspaper article within, Osama Bin Laden died in Dec 2001 or thereabouts:
http://www.whatreallyhappened.com/osama_dead.html
The FBI spokesman in 2002 said he thinks Osama bin Laden is "probably" dead:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/south_asia/2135473.stm
There was a fake Bin Laden video tape circulating in 2004:

The faked Bin laden confession tape on Youtube:

FOX News reported on Wed Dec 26, 2001:
'Report: Bin Laden Already Dead'
:::add::: (quote)" Usama bin Laden has died a peaceful death due to an untreated lung complication, the Pakistan Observer reported, citing a Taliban leader who allegedly attended the funeral of the Al Qaeda leader." (unquote):
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,41576,00.html
If he did die, who is perpetuating the myth and for what purpose? In the words of 'whatreallyhappened.com': (quote) "Osama bin Laden: A dead nemesis perpetuated by the US government" (unquote)!. Make up your own mind but would you rather believe mainstream media or alternative media sources. Just read and make your own mind up but look at facts and who stands to gain from perpetuating the myth if he is really dead. You are aware of the NWO right and the need to enslave people through lies and deceit?! Just think and keep an open mind and question everything!

Oh, I am sure he is not dead. The Bush administration would like you to think that.
I still have to ask myself if ever they really went after him.. or if he were allowed to get away for some reason. The Bushes took such good care of the bin Ladin family in the U.S. after 9/11 it makes you wonder.
I hate to think it.. but I think history, someday, will reveal there was way, way more to 9/11 than we knew and too many Americans involved in places they should not have been.
I hope I am wrong!

Kevorkian, that may betrue, or maybe they are just playing it safe. That's called operational security, if he released videotapes the CIA or whoever might be able to analyze every last detail to figure out where he is. I wouldn't do videos either if I were him. I'm willing to bet he is still alive.

Don't see anything about a daughter in that year-old article.
And, IMHO, if he were alive, we'd have seen some more recent videos of him on al-Jazeera by now. My guess would be that he's either burried in a collapsed cave in Afghanistan for future archaeologist to find, or he's suffered a physical (he was not exactly healthy) or mental collapse that has rendered him unsuitable for apearance in propaganda videos.

If a tree falls in your forest, and you're standing right there, would you still make the same little chirping sound?

I'm not sure who you refer to believing he was dead. I've never seen a body so he's never been dead to me. He should be dead, but he's not. I'm guessing the 10,000 + soldiers in Afghanistan know he's still alive and want to fix that.
