as lawful as your invasions of Iraq and Afganistan? How dare you to speak this way of Russia when your governments have toppled the government of two sovereign nations with little if any evidence to support your claims? This double standards shows up many western governments for the hypocrites they are. In 1983 Reagan condemned the Soviet government for the legitimate shooting down of KAL 007 which at the time was violating Soviet airspace. Yet, in 1988 when the US navy shoot down an Iranian passenger plane over international waters, thats suddenly OK because they thought it was a fighter plane going to attack them and they cant tell the difference between a passenger plane and a fighter plane

It's largely irrelevant.

Russia is dying. Their birthrates guarantee it. Oddly enough it's the Islamic Chechens - the ones who like to slaughter school children - who are going to take over. Ethnic Russians have reached a reproduction level from which no people have ever recovered.

Harboring such ambitions is not against any 'international law' that I've ever heard of. Though, really, 'international law' is prettymuch an oxymoron, anyway.
