I live in norfolk so is there any good rig companies that may recruit me. Ang what courses would help me on my way

Depends on what you want to do. If you wish to enter as a steward there are companies such as MPCS who are based in Norwich who work in the Southern North Sea. Other companies are Sodhexo and Aramark.

If you have a trade behind you you could contact AMEC in Yarmouth or if you are looking further afield goto www.oilcareers.com

Probably enquire with one of the oil companies. they probably have recruitment agencies they can refer you to. Of course you could always pop into Norwich Airport and sit in the cafe until you see some guys checking in at the helicopter check in desk in the far right of the desks and then ask one of them.
