I think MCG = microgram, a unit of mass; while MLS = milliters (identical to CCs, cubic centimeters), a unit of volume. You may be dealling with a solution. If you are it should have MCG/ML (or some other mass of solute to volume ratio) on the label somewhere.

But I could be mistaken: Chemistry class was years ago, and I haven't been concerned with weights and measures for anything much beyond baking since then.
