No. A zephyr is a hot, dry desert wind. Another name for it is a scirroco or sometimes in the states we call it a chinook.

No. A Zephyr is a place, a wind, a train, a car, an IM protocol, a character in a video game, a minor league baseball team, and a garment, but not an animal.

Not to my knowledge or research. Jephyr ia a god of the wind, and is generally used to describe a gentle breeze, west wind, et cetera. There also was a ford product, a car called a Lincoln Zephyr, a luxury car. I suggest you learn to use a dictionary for such questions in the future, there's a world of knowledge in those pages and YOU NEED the exposure.
